We are seeking a WordPress Developer to support our growing web development team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in WordPress development, with knowledge of coding, debugging, and pushing updates. They will be responsible for assisting the Web Development Manager with tasks on both new builds and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Web Development Manager with assigned development tasks on the task board, focusing on less technical cards and tickets.
• Sync fields and verify code deployment on test environments after code pushes, ensuring everything is functioning as expected.
• Handle general maintenance, updates, and improvements for WordPress and Drupal sites.
• Provide guidance in task management and workflow for offshore teams.
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve website issues.
• Shadow the Web Development Manager to learn best practices in website performance optimization, security updates, and development workflows.
• Provide coverage during vacations and assist with project continuity.

Requirements:

• Strong working knowledge of WordPress development, including experience with coding in PHP, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with WordPress themes, plugins, and general troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of Drupal is a plus.
• Ability to work within version control systems like Git.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle tasks independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced development environment.
• Knowledge of deployment processes and syncing environments.
