Senior Go-to-Market Lead, Public Sector

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Public Sector Go-to-Market Lead position! This position drives strategic marketing leadership across a portfolio of high-impact, government-focused clients. Serves as the primary client advisor, aligning complex, multi-channel marketing strategies with the nuances of federal procurement, national security priorities, and public sector SaaS positioning. With deep fluency in the government ecosystem, this role leads cross-functional teams to deliver integrated go-to-market campaigns that elevate brand visibility, support contract pursuits, and achieve mission-aligned outcomes. Further, bridges client goals with executional excellence across PR, digital, content, and paid media, ensuring marketing efforts resonate within federal audiences and procurement cycles.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior point of contact and strategic advisor for public sector clients, ensuring marketing initiatives align with federal priorities and procurement cycles.
  • Own the development and direction of go-to-market strategies across branding, campaign execution, and launches.
  • Lead integrated marketing efforts across internal teams (strategy, paid media, digital, PR), connecting messaging, creative, and channel execution.
  • Drive campaign outcomes aligned with client business goals—ranging from brand visibility and thought leadership to pursuit marketing and market repositioning.
  • Guide cross-functional teams to deliver client results, offering strategic oversight without direct execution responsibilities.
  • Translate complex public sector objectives into actionable marketing programs, ensuring clarity, precision, and relevance across all deliverables.
  • Leverage deep understanding of the federal ecosystem, including key events, trade associations, and government publications.
  • Apply experience working with national security entities, defense technology platforms, and FedRAMP-authorized SaaS providers.
  • Provide guidance on executive visibility, thought leadership, and federal engagement strategies tailored to niche government audiences.
  • Monitor industry trends and procurement cycles to optimize campaign timing and messaging relevance.

Professional Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in public sector marketing, go-to-market strategy, or agency account leadership.
  • Demonstrated expertise in federal buying cycles, B2G marketing dynamics, and mission-focused communications.
  • Strong background in managing integrated campaigns across PR, digital, paid media, and content marketing.
  • Deep familiarity working with clients in software, national security, and emerging technology sectors is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to influence client stakeholders and internal teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Remote office environment. Occasional travel may be required.
